Reviews and Ratings
Our stay was enjoyable overall with pleasant staff and good food quality, especially with ingredients sourced from the resort grounds. However, the outdated cottages were a disappointment, particularly in terms of comfort, and the incident with another guest regarding our dog left a sour taste in our experience.
We had a fantastic weekend at Elmhirst, celebrating a special family anniversary in a cozy cottage by the lake. The atmosphere was relaxed, and we enjoyed several activities together. Although there was a minor issue with the front desk staff during our stay, it didn't overshadow the beautiful experience. Our only regret was not trying the food at the restaurant, but we thoroughly enjoyed the amenities available.
I recently stayed at this resort and was left feeling quite disappointed. Although the views were beautiful, the facilities and dining experience did not meet expectations. The rooms were spacious, but the overall upkeep of the resort felt lacking. The staff were genuinely friendly, which was a positive note, but I wouldn't recommend this place based on my experience.
My stay at this resort had its ups and downs. The location is picturesque and offers plenty of activities, but I found the food options lacking and the water supply interruptions annoying. The pools were too cold for my liking, and the bike availability could have been better. Overall, it was not my best experience.
Our stay was a mix of highs and lows. The cottages were spacious, clean, and offered stunning views of Rice Lake, making them perfect for relaxation. Service was exceptional, with attentive staff ensuring a memorable experience. However, some aspects, like the maintenance of the outdoor trails and mixed dining experiences, could use improvement. Overall, while there are some drawbacks, the positives lead us to consider returning for another visit.
